Inhabiting the border that separates (or unites) the mystical and the earthly, Souls proposes a dream. Over the half-Martian, half-Lunar landscapes of the Argentine Northwest, the voice of a woman tells her story. A tale in which memory blends with the dreamlike, and where the candid existentialism of some questions (“How will it be when you die?”) appears spontaneously, free from any kind of neurosis. The memory of those who are no longer here, the contemplation of others, community life, day-to-day labor. Through some hallucinated cinematography, the film illustrates like few others that ancient territory, while a high-precision work with sound builds a unique universe over the everyday. Souls is a sensitive challenge, an experience close to ecstasy. A journey to the confines of the country, of the world, of film. 源自:https://www.mardelplatafilmfest.com/38/en/pelicula/las-almas
